What started off as a way to increase hybred vigor into our crossbred flock, has become a new adventure into breeding Dorsets. We atrted with a Purebred ram, “Harvey” , who made us several Hampshire x Dorset market lambs. This increased the feed efficiency and growth rate in the lambs significantly.  So we decided to continue the cross aspect retaining a couple DA ewes and picking up our first purebred dorset ewe in 2025. 

We are super pleased with how these are performing in the ring and in the field.
